SHOROC's "Ban E-Waste in Landfill" Campaign

We were asked to design the graphic elements and provide marketing material to SHOROC to help communicate a new E-Waste initiative.

This included a folder and its contents for elected members to review. From the E-Waste illustration to website components, we produced a range of assets for SHOROC.

Appearing in the press, on council communication throughout 4 local council regions, and on the E-Waste itself, this public campaign is about putting responsibility for waste from junk computers, TVs and audio back to the retailers and manufacturers themselves.

Closed for Christmas!

Merry Christmas!

Renelt Belic Design's last day for 2009 will be Friday, 18th December. We will be reopening onMonday, 4th January 2010. We look forwards to a happy and prosperous Christmas and New Year for all our clients and their families.

Here's to 2010!

Software Visual Design

A growing part of our portfolio are visual interfaces for software. One of the latest is for Relegen, who create systems for asset management. We created an interface for a military application for this particular software solution - baseLINE Asset Management, amongst other ongoing projects.

The particular one in this solution is used on touchscreens, in critical environments, where ease of use and visual clarity are of utmost importance. Our visual solutions provided a better experience for new users of the baseLINE touchscreen interface.

Website upgrade

We've just upgraded our website to Drupal 6 - the best open source content management system currently available - built on PHP and MYSQL technology. Used by Sony, MTV, Universities and other government organisations, its a framework that is rock-solid, extensible, and CSS compliant.

We figured we've built so many sites for our clients on the same technology, it was time to do it for ourselves! Expect a lot more updates and content to chew through.

Department of Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy - successful tender

We are pleased to announce the success of our tender to become a preferred supplier for The Department of Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy. The Department works towards a better future for all Australians by developing a world-class communications and information technology sector - and it sounded like something we needed to be involved in!

We thank the board for their consideration and look forward to working with the Commonwealth of Australia for the duration of our contract in 2009 & 2010.

Christmas - a time for work and play

We've had our first Christmas card requests beginning to trickle in. Every year we design a number of different Christmas cards, interactive games, and html emails for the festive season - a fun challenge we always enjoy.

As for the holidays - we will finish up on Tuesday 23rd and will be back for business on Monday, January 5th 2009.

Thanks to everyone for making 2008 a great year so far.

Evolution

Renelt Belić Design is always evolving. Today we being our rebranding with our new logotype. Reflecting evolution, change, development and growth, our new logotype combines a new layout and mark with the ever-modern Signa typeface designed by Ole Søndergaard. The deep red prevalent throughout our corporate communication reflects our attention to action, energy and a focus on getting things done. Here's to the new era!

Spring is here

Another spring, another website revamp. Our new site has plenty of visuals for you to browse. A lot has been built in Flash's new AS3, providing plenty of opportunity for experimentation and fun, interactive design.

The Australian Red Cross

We're pleased to announce our first project with the Australian Red Cross.

This amazing organisation supports people in times of crisis, and we are honoured to be part of the mission.

We're currently producing a volunteer's newsletter, brochures, posters and event launch mailers to communicate new Australian Red Cross activities and initiatives. These include projects for overseas support, volunteer communication, phone support for the elderly, and opening of new offices across Australia.

Visit www.redcross.org.au to make a donation or find out what the Australian Red Cross is doing for crisis situations in Australia and elsewhere.

In the News

Some of our concept artwork graced the cover of Fairfax Publications' Sydney Morning Herald today.

You can checkout the story - and one of the images we created on this link here: www.smh.com.au

The project was commissioned by North Sydney Council and involved photorealistic illustrations of the cycle/walkway (not yet built, obviously!) and the design of various communication colateral such as posters and mailers. The illustration was done by Petar Belic using 3D illustration techniques and photomontage work.

We are looking forwards to seeing this one 'get off the ground'.
